Stunt brake disc (rotor)

The brake discs we have on offer are mostly parts manufactured individually for our order. You won’t buy such discs in an ordinary motorcycle store. Why? Because they are mostly discs with a larger diameter compared to the original ones, prepared for rear brake systems.

An original rotor diameter 220 mm is replaced by a floating disc with a diameter of 300 mm. As a result, we gain better braking power, the possibility to install more types of calipers and better heat distribution. Brake rotors for motorcycles must work well with pads, effectively absorb and dissipate heat generated during braking, be abrasion resistant and, ultimately, serve the motorcycle and its rider for as long as possible. What’s more, they should look impressive, as they are the most conspicuous part of the braking system. The two-piece design includes a thicker, 5-millimeter-thick outer friction ring made of high-strength stainless steel alloy, which is attached to a CNC-milled inner ring made of 7075 T6 aluminum alloy using nine fully floating rivets. This arrangement prevents deformation and warping, even as the outer ring expands under extreme temperatures. We also use our discs when building custom suspensions for Cafe Racers and other complex projects, in which we change the serial suspension, brakes, forks and front wheel. Such operations sometimes require the discs to be mounted on special adapters, so that the wheel can be properly aligned.
